Tonight we shot the opening sequence for the 20 minute clip that will screen at Light Industry in NYC June 10th. With the help of Bobby and Andrew of Specialentertainment.com and my fantastic editor Cris we took a little over 4 hours to set-up, hand sew the movie title and break down the set.

I feel like I did a fairly good job of free-handing the lettering for the titles, it was harder than I expected and my fingers are RAW!

Here I am working and you can see the monitor I was watching myself sew on in front of me for 2.5 hours

final embroidery piece for opening credit of 20 minute clip
done! I free-hand embroidered this without any lines to trace- a bit harder than I expected.

That's awesome. What an interesting idea for an opening. Can't wait.
